A WK Froe

Just got this froe made for a member :D
8" long with a 1" eye. Double bevel on the "cutting" edge
Made from 50mm x 5mm steel :wink:

When s/he gets it and tries it out for several days, will the member then pls post a review here?

Did you mean us to think you'd made this particular froe for an individual member of Association of Pole Lathe Turners? Or for an individual member of this Bulletin Board?

That's interesting - as I read your comment above , you indicate the froe illustrated above was commissioned by an individual pole lathe member. You write

But because the hammer blows and grind pattern on the one you sent me for testing show it to be the same froe as the one you completed for passround testing , I can only assume you have yet to identify the member who will have it.

I know who it is :roll: .
I PM'ed him for a week or more with no reply so I eventually got the hint :idea: and realised he had changed his mind but decided to not let me know :cry: .
So yes, it is the same one.
I even offered it to him for free so he could test it for me as it was the first one I'd made.
Maybe something has happened to him or his PC's caflooied...don't know :? .
Anyway, one mans loss is some other peoples gain :mrgreen: ;)
