Possible insurance avenue for some?

Postby Wiffa1 » Thu Sep 08, 2011 11:55 am

As a wood carver and pole lathe worker who demonstrates and does small have a go sessions I have found the change in the Pole Lathe Workers insurance difficult, my sister who is an artist pointed me towards the Artists Interaction and Representation website which offers to persons who can fit certain arts related criteria cover for insurance up to £5,000000. The cover and membership to this body is also very reasonable more importantly it covers workshops and demonstrations. I have contacted them and it seems that my demonstrations are covered. It may not be suitable for all APT members due to the artist criteria but it could well be useful for some. this is the link for the curious:- http://www.a-n.co.uk/air
