A bit of carving on an African Chieftains chair that came into the workshop this week. Look at the expression on this face.

Yes, first off I thought it looked like Bill Bailey but here in this better pic, I think it looks more like a cousin of mine when she was young and about to burst into tears! Seriously though there are four of these chairs with a carved head on top of each arm, every face is different, I'd love to know what they represent.

The newly woven seat in seagrass, couldn't really use hemp which is what I think it was originally. Not easy - no single element of the frame is square.
