Tormek spare parts problem...

Postby Christophe » Wed Mar 25, 2015 11:36 am

Hi everyone,
I have a question for those of you using a tormek, I recently got one 2nd hand for a decent price (even though the stone is a bit used), but the main thing is that there is like a vertical wobble in it. I trued the stone but still the wobbling is there so I decided to check the main shaft, but it is straight, then I tried to make the motor run without the wheel to see if it was turning true and no problem but when I put back the drive wheel it seems to me like the rubber on it is the one making the wobble, could this be my problem? Does any of you know if this spare part is to change on regular basis.
Thanks
Christophe

I don't know your answer. I do know that Axminster tool Company will. They are very very good and will sell you any missing parts.
