Bradfield Woods this Autumn

Postby HughSpencer » Tue Aug 21, 2007 5:30 pm

We had a huge turnout on a wet Sunday 19th August age range 2 to 84 and it was brilliant.

Please note the next meeting will be October 7th and no meeting in September!

Normally we meet first Sunday in the month all year round.

Judging by your location Hugh, I can guess the answer but....

I take it this is not the Bradfield woods on the outskirts of Sheffield?

I'm afraid not, this is Bradfield Woods Suffolk, its a national nature reserve run by Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

Under continuous coppice rotation for at least 900 years it is indeed a national treasure. We are lucky enough to have a permanent bodgers camp next to the visitors centre.
