seems a bit odd to advertise an opportunity that is only open to the folk who did the previous course on a public forum, why not just email the folk who did the previous course?

Hi Heinrich,

Please try again you should now be able to reach the site.

Robin,
We do not currently know who or how many folks will sign up for the Nuneham Courtney course but we are hopeful that with the promise of further woodland based opportunities in Oxfordshire that this might swing the decsision making balance to encourage locally based persons and aspiring timber-frame carpenters to attend the first course where they will learn the skills that can then be put to good use on the follow on project.

Hi,

Work has now started at Nuneham Courtney to convert felled trees into timber framing components, using an Alaskan chainsaw mill, for use as cruck blade, beams and braces, etc.

Photos of this work can be seen at Cruck Timber Conversion

Hi,

We now need to find a local South Oxfordshire / Berkshire person capable of handling, manouvering and positioning large larch timbers ready for conversion by hewing and rip sawing. To see the timbers involved check out the post made by Chilterns on 24 Oct 2013 at :-

http://oxfordshirewoodlandgroup.co.uk/f ... topic&t=37

Please PM me if you are interested in helping us.
