Hello,

I have some small logs of Prunus spinosa
The dutch name is Sleedoorn
I read it can be used for making walking sticks, does anybody know other good uses for it?

Depends how big it is, it is nice for carving spoons and things, knife handles etc, pretty much anything you would do with any other fruitwoods. When it gets big, say over 5" diameter it often gets nice purple and pink colours inside. Its common English name is blackthorn.
