Public Liability Insurance

The public liability insurance taken out by the Association provides cover for members who are demonstrating at shows/events and also for demonstrating to other members (ie local group meetings). The cover provides third party liability insurance of £5,000,000. It provides for supervised 'have-a-go' sessions  but does not cover professional course tuition with multiple students.

Members who demonstrate very regularly at shows, earning their living, trade commercially and/or teach will find it necessary to arrange their own cover. For members who are considering taking out their own insurance there is a useful thread on the forum in which members with their own insurance discuss various providers.
