Cheaper on tools as well, you only need a saw and screwdriver, maybe a rasp.
Could it be classed as green woodworking if the pallets are wet?

Chep pallets are blue - this could he some sort of renegade movement.

Not saying its bad tho - making sawing drilling and hammering accessible is good. Kinda links with the "handicrafts" thread.
