Carpenters Fellowship meeting at Cressing Temple

Postby robin wood » Mon Sep 06, 2010 9:13 am

I am just back from the annual weekend get together of the UKs timber framers. http://www.carpentersfellowship.co.uk/

The event was held at Cressing Temple barns in Essex and would make a superb venue for an AGM. Lots of camping space, three huge indoor spaces, two of which are 13th century barns and the other 16th c. At this event we had lots of speakers including Oliver Rackham (woodland historian) and Peter McCurdy (built the Globe) If you are in the area (10 miles east of Standsted) I would recommend a visit.
