Move to version 3 of phpBB

Postby HughSpencer » Sun Oct 19, 2008 4:58 pm

As you may have noticed I have moved the board over to the newest version of the bulletin board software, it needs some work to make it match the rest of the site but I figured I had to get on with it and make the move. If you get lost trying to use this version let me know.
I'll try and customise it shortly.

Regards
Hugh

That's exciting - well done! Does that mean we can use the pound sign again?

Kudos! As I had said before, I do not care much for revamped web pages for the most part, but I must say you have done very well with this. It is as attractive as it is easy to use and not terribly different from the old version.

I seem to have lost my RSS feed for this forum- is it turned off, or do I need to subscribe in a different way what with the new version and all? I can't seem to find the button that usually exists for subscribing. Thanks.

Sorry Fuzzy,
The RSS feed was a modification of version 2 and so far I've not found a working modification for RSS feed in version 3.
As soon as I find one that works I'll apply it.

I've just updated to the latest version for security reasons. Apologies to anyone who couldn't get on the BB while I was mashing up the code on the 3rd of Jan 2011.
Anyone who experiences problems please let me know ASAP.
