Whistle making

Postby Robin Fawcett » Fri May 30, 2008 10:47 pm

Several people at Horton-cum-Studley mentioned that they had seen my whistle making demonstration at Wallington Hall last year - had tried it for themselves and hadn't been very successful.
So . . .
Have a look at this :-

I don't mind how many people make money from selling whistles - practice makes perfect and we all make things differently. Hope you can see the tools that I'm using clearly.

Vanessa can sell all I make for £4+ and I find it hard to keep up with the demand ! . . .

Thanks Robin. Thats an excellent video. I feel a TV career could be in the offing. I look forward to tuning some if I get any to whistle!

Excellent video, Robin.

My daughter saw it and now she wants to give it a try. Me too! I can see where this will be a favourite of our Scout Troop. You get to play with sharp stuff, and make a lot of racket.
