Hello Again from the South Yorks Group.
Would all persons wishing to book a place on both the Pole lathe & Bowl Lathe
let either Bob or Gavin Know ASAP .This is so we know what resources to put in place.We have a rather full program of
demonstrations for you .I would ask you all to bring along some biscuits for our biscuit barrel this and the Tea & Coffee
will be on tap free all W/end just bring a cup .Please dont forget your Articles for the Auction.
Also bring along examples of works you have done for our Crafts & Chairmaking Competitions.All who attend will be able to
Pitch behind their workspace .We will try and keep Local Groups together . We would like volunteers to man Booking in and helping out with the required Paperwork.Also Volunteers to man the Bar ,if you are prepared to do any of these please come forward and make yourself known at the AGM .If anyone as a query in regards to the AGM please feel free to Email us or phone anytime .I am waiting for a list of local B&Bs from Doncaster Tourist info .There are very good rail links to Doncaster
The Bus station is by the Station ,anyone arriving by train can get the Bus to the Mallard Pub in Cusworth,this is just a few minutes walk to the venue.Plenty of Taxis also, We have had a few replies to our letters from companies prepared to support us with prizes for our competitions,if any one would like to donate something for our prizes this would be most welcome.

Hi everybody,
A quick update of AGM. Would you please bring along some Biscuits for our Biscuit Barrel .We have " large Barbeques for your use over the W/end .we are providing salad stuff and sauces plus bread ,there are shops within the village ashort walk from the site also supermarkets within 3miles there is also a really good pork farm shop at Marr only a short journey away .We intend to run a Raffle also . If anyone would like to do a short Demo please let us know .
Bring along those old tools and learn how to put a edge on them and keep it there .
