Just measured them properly, they are 20 - 24" diameter not 18".

Going on the price Mike was selling chair seats for 10 years ago and what elm fetches at auction it will be £65 per cubic foot. I've not milled it yet so can cut it to whatever thickness you want.

I don't sell timber I only buy it for personal use and since I buy it as trees and have it milled it is generally very cheap. I do have a nice big elm I had slabbed up a couple of years ago with the intention of maybe one day making table tops, elm is lovely stuff.

Heyup Rob, don't know how many boards you've got but if you want to share the expense I'll have a bit of Elm off you if you have any spare--its my favourite native too.
