Daniel Boucard

Hello,

As said Daniel Boucard is now putting on sale almost all his collection of axes, some are given as references in his famous book about typology of axes. In the 90's he had already in his possession over thousand pieces. Almost all his clogmakers axes are sold (120) now. One can order from him basing his order from what is shown in that book.

The book can be signed by the author. Still the best book ever written on typologies of French axes, their uses and history. PM me if you're interested in buying from him. He could be of a great help for some of us here.

Coincidentally I came across Daniel's book last week and posted an image & link for it on the book thead: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2271&start=15 (Great cover)

Good to see the tools becoming available for use again, or for others to collect & enjoy. Hopefully the historical knowledge/story is safeguarded by the book. Personally, I love that axe on the left of the cover - saw one like it (perhaps even a tad wackier) in the UK a month or two ago.
