Wooden nails anyone?

Postby anobium » Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:17 pm

Check out beck-lignoloc.com for details of these nails made of beechwood compressed with resin. They need to be shot in using a pressure gun, though low technology methods could perhaps be devised.
This would seem to be a major advance, imagine if pallets could be joined with them, no more unreliable chipboard fixings. Apparently the nail bonds with the wood.
