Cherry, deep joy! That's really big too. I almost bought a house once that had fabulous and unusual looking dark cherry wood doors on the kitchen units. The house was great, but the garden, miniscule :(. We have a much smaller decorative cherry tree in the garden. At least we think it is a cherry tree, being decorative it doesn't actually produce fruit - what a silly idea. I gave it a careful but major trim last year and guess what? It re-grew back bigger than ever :D. A friend had warned me about this years ago, after he got fed up with apples dropping on his lawn - he cut the trees back hard and ended up with a bumper crop to deal with!

I met a guy from Sussex, apparently they grow a lot of cherry down there, fruit for the markets.
