Bodgers Ball 2016

Postby Mike Abbott » Sun Jul 26, 2015 3:51 pm

I have heard that the 2016 B Ball is to be held at Tyntesfield near Bristol. Is this true and would that be 6-8th May?

Tyntesfield: True
Date: Don't know. It is always 2nd weekend May. Because May 2015 starts on a Sunday, you can argue when is the FIRST weekend. I am not on Comittee, so watch this and other spaces.

Hi davie,
Just to let you know the theme ,if you have not yet received the magazine , the theme is Gothic revival. An odd title but it is up to individuals to decide what this means.
The site has a house built in the gothic revival style . It is going to be interesting to see the interpretation that members make of it.

Has anyone else noticed that the number of remaining places on the courses never changes, I know one place has been booked - as I booked it but the number remaining did not go down!

Hi anobium

TRY the bodgers ball 2016 site http://www.bodgersball.org.uk/2016/news.html
it states

There will be an auction of bodging tools and paraphernalia on Sunday. If you have an item to enter to the auction, please send an email in advance to the local organiser, Dick Berry. Dick’s email address is d.ickberry@icloud.com

Hope this is helpful

Thanks Alan, that's great :)

We have our Paypal receipt for the weekend and course, and have had a few emails detailing the event, so I think we're good to go, haha! Just thought i'd check in case we needed snail-mail tickets.
Thank you very much for your response, and hope to see you there too!
Cheers
