Saw Sharpening courses at BB2016

Postby gavin » Wed Nov 04, 2015 7:21 pm

The Bodgers Committee have asked me to arrange courses at BB2016 at Tyntesfield National Trust, near Bristol.

I have got furthest ahead with organising the saw-sharpening course.

Because I want to make sure the tutor provides what people need from a saw-sharpening course, I would like to ask some questions of anyone who:

    1. is interested in big toothed saw-sharpening - you need not have any prior experience.
    2. will be available to attend BB 2016 from 9 am Friday 6 May.
    3. can spend possibly 15 minutes with me on the phone to answer some questions.

If you have no saw currently, the tutor indicates he will have 2nd hand saws available, and at much cheaper prices than Flinn Garlick sell theirs.

If you meet the three criteria above, PM me.

FYI we will be sharpening peg-tooth or Great American saws i.e. not raker-toothed saws.
