Service Description

During this broom-making class, we will have the opportunity to learn & make 3 hand brooms. You will learn the basics of making small hand brooms with minimal materials and tools. We will work with multiple broom materials and a variety of styles. The £12 material cost is included in the cost of the workshop fee. Additional materials will be available for purchase following the workshop. Brooms are an essential home-making item. They are used for tending our home space, workshops and for altars & rituals. A morning sweep is a meditative task that starts my day. Industrial machines are taking over crafts that were once taught and passed through the generations. Join me to make this simple home item that you will use everyday, and will likely gift to everyone you know. This craft uses both your feet and your arms. You need good coordination and hand strength. Suitable for all levels.
