The Association is proud to include many modern-day Bodgers in our ranks with pole-lathe turners, spoon carvers, blacksmiths, basket weavers, and chair makers to name a few of the heritage craftspeople making up our ranks.

A fair few of these capable individuals provide courses, tuition, and demonstrations as well as selling the incredible products they produce.

Below you can search for a Bodger who can help you with all your green woodworking needs.

London Green Wood is a not-for-profit cooperative and a community of green woodworkers based in Hackney. Our aim is to encourage crafty-ness, creativity and self-reliance in everybody. From our outdoor woodland workshop, using locally felled wood, we bring heritage crafts to the heart of the city and make basic woodcraft skills available to all. We have been running events and teaching courses at our outdoor workshop since 2011. We promise gentle teaching, a beautiful setting, friendly people, the satisfaction of learning new skills and a fire when it gets chilly. We run courses for adults, for families, for group bookings (away days, bonding, parties or just because) and deliver woodworking sessions in partnership with other community groups.
