The Association is proud to include many modern-day Bodgers in our ranks with pole-lathe turners, spoon carvers, blacksmiths, basket weavers, and chair makers to name a few of the heritage craftspeople making up our ranks.
A fair few of these capable individuals provide courses, tuition, and demonstrations as well as selling the incredible products they produce.

WOODSMITH is the UK’s largest dedicated store (webshop and walk-in store) supplying greenwoodworking tools and devices. Including ready-to-turn pole lathes, shavehorses, charcoal kilns and equipment. Happy to advise on identifying the right tools for the novice and the more experienced. Our established traditional woodcraft courses are held at our dedicated greenwood workshop in Northumberland. The Greenwood Foundation Course runs from Jan – April each year has started many successful greenwood careers.
